I think I should note here that I've been playing w/ macro filters alot this summer. All of the shots that I put up in the last few days were taken with them. Untill this weekend I'd been obsessed with the extreme filters, and stacking them. This weekend I started playing with the 1x and 2x filters more. I'm blown away by the results. I can tell a difference between these filters, and a good lens, but with a price difference of hundreds of dollars, the filters were a great investment. They're also much lighter to carry, and easier to switch out than a good lens.
